I am grateful to you, the members and leadership of St. Oswald's, for welcoming me to be your priest, and for this opportunity. For the past eleven years, I have worked as Spiritual Care Chaplin in care homes; the recent five years without a parish of my own, just the chaplaincy. Though I was doing some supply work on Sunday mornings, and short term interim ministry, I missed being the pastor of a church, and especially the Sunday morning worship and fellowship with my own congregation. Now I have it again. Thank you.
By God's grace and our being and working together, I think we have shown this past year a good spirit of community and faith, worship and concern for one another and those in need beyond the parish. Every one of you is an important part of this spirit and effort. May we continue this way in 2016!
